Meet Aditya N., the Composer Behind Gen Z Love Anthem “Jee Liya” from Tu Yaa Main

With Hindi film music constantly evolving to match the emotions of a younger audience, composer-producer Aditya N. is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting new voices in the space. His latest track “Jee Liya”, featured in the upcoming film Tu Yaa Main starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, has already become a trending favourite among Gen Z listeners earning massive traction across YouTube and digital streaming platforms.
Built around emotional restraint, soft romance, and modern sonic textures, “Jee Liya” feels like the kind of love song today’s generation actually relates to: calm, comforting, and quietly intense.
A Modern Love Song with Trance-Tinted Emotion
Unlike typical Bollywood romantic tracks that rely on dramatic highs, “Jee Liya” takes a more intimate route. It blends smooth melodies with subtle trance-inspired soundscapes, creating a track that feels dreamy yet grounded. The production carries a modern edge, while still keeping the emotional tone warm and accessible making it ideal for late-night listening, long drives, and Valentine’s season playlists.
The song is also used at a pivotal moment in the film’s trailer, where the chemistry between the lead pair begins to intensify, adding an extra layer of intrigue and suspense.
Vocally, the track features performances by Adarsh Gourav and Lothika Jha, with backing vocals by Aditya N. himself adding to the song’s youthful and personal feel.
How “Jee Liya” Was Born
Speaking about the track’s origin, Aditya N. revealed that the song began during a casual studio jam session with Adarsh Gourav in early 2024.
“A casual jam with beats and piano led to the concept of Jee Liya… While filming Tu Yaa Main, he would come to my studio on his days off to work on the song.”
When Adarsh later played the song for director Bejoy Nambiar, the director immediately wanted it in the film. What started as an organic collaboration soon turned into one of the most talked-about romantic tracks of the year.
Within just four days of release, “Jee Liya” reportedly crossed nearly 10 million YouTube views, proving its instant audience connect.
Aditya N. also shared that the duo recently performed the track live at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, where the crowd response was overwhelming with Shanaya Kapoor herself present in the audience.
